Designed with clinicians in mind, the Signature Series Swan™ offers a user-friendly experience with its intuitive design and state-of-the-art functions such as an ‘Auto-Detect’ feature that automatically configures optimal pressure, streamlining setup and reducing the need for ongoing maintenance.
The Signature Series Swan™ comes standard equipped with intelligent features like ‘Auto-Fowler,’ which adjusts airflow to the sacral/pelvic area when the bedhead is raised. This prevents bottoming-out and ensures enhanced protection for high-risk bony areas With a higher air flow rate, the Signature Series Swan™ actively reduces moisture and humidity, creating the perfect environment for accelerated healing.
Features
- Alternating Pressure Therapy – 1-in-3 air cells gently inflate and deflate to promote safe offloading of pressure while maintaining sufficient body contact to reduce the risk of peak pressures. Cells alternate slowly to ensure clients remain stable and unaffected by the surface movement.
- True Low Air Loss Therapy – continuous high airflow controls microclimate (temperature and humidity) suitable to promote wound healing.
- ‘Auto-Detect’ – automatically calibrates optimal pressure based on body weight and surface area. This improves the efficiency of set-up, reducing the need for on-going caregiver adjustments.
- ‘Auto-Fowler’ – automatic increase of air to sacral/pelvic area when bed head is raised to reduce risk of bottoming-out and ensure protection for high-risk bony areas.
- ‘HeelRelief’ – lower pressure under the lightweight, bony ankle and heel areas to promote additional immersion and pressure redistribution.
- ‘StaticPillow’ – a motionless head section to promote head and neck positioning and offer comfort to the client.
- ‘EasyCover’ design – cover easily removed for cleaning/disinfecting and can be laundered. Ease of cleaning ensures infection protection.
